First post from 2012!!! Fun outfits from the last week! Went to Vegas for New Year’s, so there is no better place to wear a sparkly, sequin dress. I actually had to dress for 2 nights out in Vegas, then one outfit for the Fiesta Bowl.

Dress is from Lucca, but I bought it like 4 years ago for a different NYE. So, yes, I am repeating. Just this time without tights since I was somewhere warm.

The week in between Christmas and New Years is always a bit different. I like downtown because it is so slow, not one else comes to work, so there is no traffic and the parking garage is empty. It’s a good week to wear jeans or more casual outfits.

Christmas was good – I enjoyed my time with my family and friends. Now looking forward to a crazy weekend for NYE and the OSU bowl game.

It’s the most wonderful time….of the year! I love Christmas! I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday. I’m using this quiet time at the office to get the blog updated.

This week consisted of a lot of neutral-colored outfits.

Monday I wore a skirt that I got for $16 at the Gap over the weekend.

Everything in this outfit is from the Gap – even the tights. Boots are Nine West.

Tuesday I wore a shirt with a tie. I recently saw an InStyle article about different ways to tie the bow. The first time I wore this shirt I tied it in a bow at my neck, and while I liked how that looked, I wanted something a little less restricted this time.

Wednesday was the first day my boss was out of the office, and I had no meetings, so I went with jeans, a tank and a cardigan.

Weekly update! Haven’t taken all the pictures I normally do with the holiday last week and being a little under the weather this week.

So, here is a picture of my Thanksgiving dinner. Now you see why I needed to wear leggings on Thanksgiving.

So now onto some outfits. Tuesday I wore black legging jeans from the Gap, a button up from the Gap and grey sweater from H&M.

Thursday I wore a dress from Target that I bought years ago and never wore because it was too short. Then, I realized I should just wear it with leggings. The leggings are from H&M and the cardigan is Gap.

And today I have a meeting so I threw a blazer on with the outfit. Jeans are Gap, shirt is American Eagle and blazer is The Limited.

It’s been about a week since I posted anything, so here are the updates! Last Wednesday I got to take my niece to see Twilight for a special advanced screening. I think she liked it! I am totally on team Jacob. Anyway, my niece told me that the pants I wore look grey, and I always thought they were green, so who knows. Everything is from the Gap.

Last Thursday I had some meetings at work, and an Ad2OKC meeting with the Thunder, so I went with one of my favorite winter outfits – tights, dress, long cardigan and boots. Dress is from the Limited, Cardigan is Gap, Belt is Banana Republic.

Friday was the OSU football game, so I should have been wearing orange, but I didn’t think about it until after I got to work. Anyway, this is all Gap.

Tuesday was cold, so I decided it was okay to wear jeans to work. Plus, it’s almost Thanksgiving, right? Shirt is Banana Republic, sweater is White House Black Market, jeans are Gap.

And today, to kick off Thanksgiving right, I really wanted to wear some leggings. Everyone should have stretchy pants for Thanksgiving. That way you can eat whatever you want. I may wear these all week. I’m heading home for a few days and really looking forward to it. Leggings are H&M, skirt is Express, shirt is Gap.

Today I am dressed for the first big KU basketball game! Wish I was there since it is KU vs. Kentucky, and in NYC. So cool. Anyway, it’s on at 8 tonight, so I have just enough time to play my soccer game and then get home in time to watch most of the game! Go ‘hawks!

Always behind on the posts! The last week has been crazy busy and the days have been flying by.

Last Thursday I had a minor dental surgery, so no pictures from that day, then Friday I could barely smile because my mouth hurt so bad! I felt good enough to make it to work, and to the Girlie Show, where my friends were selling bags for their company, Wise Abe.

This work week has flown by. I have been so busy at work and at night. Monday night I almost got caught in the flash flood. It was probably the scariest drive of my life, but PTL I made it home! Tuesday I had soccer and last night, I finally got my hair cut.

So today’s outfit is a dress from Dillards, Antonio Melani, that I got for like $15 I think. The belt was missing, but I knew I had this belt from Banana Republic that would go over it well. This is the first time I’ve worn it and I’ve gotten quite a few compliments on it already. I think the $15 was worth it!

Pretty good week, so far! This weekend was really fun. Friday night I went to Tulsa to celebrate one of my friends I’ve known forever’s 30th birthday. Can’t believe we are turning 30 this year! It was really fun to see her and get to celebrate with her. I also got to see my friend Corban for like 10 minutes when we ran into each other out in Tulsa. From there I headed over to Stillwater to catch the homecoming celebration. I had a rep offer me some great tickets, so we got to go on the field and sit in a special room in Gallagher-Iba. It was a new OSU experience for me.

After the game I rushed back to OKC to get ready for Halloween. My costume was Puss in Boots. I wore black leggings, a black long tank, black riding boots, a cape, and a zorro hat. Then I wore a cat tail and ears and painted my face (thanks Melissa!). My favorite part of the costume was my sword. Can’t even begin to tell you how many people I hit with that sword.

Sunday my parents were here, and thanks to their home-owning expertise, I now have a new kitchen faucet!

This week has been just as busy. Monday night I went over to a friends house to hand out candy (no one ever comes to my house to trick-or-treat) and last night I had soccer.

I have to give a huge shout out to the guy at the Apple store that replaced my phone for free yesterday after I dropped it and broke my brand new phone after 2 weeks of having it. I carried the other 3GS for like 3 years and then stupidly broke the new one in a very unfortunate barely dropped it and it broke situation. So happy I didn’t have to buy a new one!
